Feuilly and Bossuet present a guide to fangirls. This was actually drawn back in November during an especially boring study hall, but I didn't get around to sticking it on DA until now.
As you can probably tell, it's based on observations around the Les Miserables fandom over a period of a couple years. Fangirls never fail to amuse me, despite the fact that I am one myself. *hangs head* Yes, that's right, I'm a confirmed Combeferre and Boromir fangirl.
Er, hey, this was drawn with a mechanical pencil and a red crayon, 'cos they were the only things I had with me at the time. Just so you know.
ETA (11/24/07): Several of you seem to have noticed that two things have happened since I drew this comic: 1) Feuilly has obtained quite a lot of fangirls, and 2) I have become a Javert fangirl. I assure you that I am fully aware of both, and that neither was true when the comic was first drawn. xD
ETA (5/1/08): Holy crap, people, a hundred faves? I..I'm stunned and honored and I don't know what else to say. Thank you so much!
I don't know anything about Les Miserables, but I still thought that was hilarious... Reminds me a bit of [link] -- ever seen it? My friend and I made it a long time ago. I haven't updated it since last year, but it's still good for a laugh.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
