Cravat-wearing aviators. 4. Original writing. 3. Dragonriding!Napoleon. 2. A complete and total absence of magic and all the logical fallacies thereof. 1. Did I mention Dragonriding!Napoleon?

Drawn a couple of months ago in anticipation of the fourth Temeraire book, Empire of Ivory. Looking back on it, I realize I forgot Temeraire's medallion. *shame* Just, um, pretend it's there, a'ight?
This will remain black and white until I figure out a way to realistically color scales without killing my fingers - which is probably forever. Dx So yes.
SUPER BIG IMPORTANT NOTE: Please refrain from mentioning spoilers in your comment! Thanks a bunch!
The Temeraire series is (c) Naomi Novik. The Inheritance series is (c) Christopher Paolini, and he can bloody well keep it for all I care.
I haven't heard of Temeraire, but your list of reasons why it's better than Inheritance combined with this comic (which is made of epic win, might I add) makes me want to read it. Leik woah.
Your dragons are adorable, and I love how you depicted Eragon. That's almost exactly how I pictured him! XD

*seconds that* Felt kind of daft basically saying exactly that when Kiwi already had.
But, yeah, dragon-riding!Napolean?! This I MUST read. XD
Okay, you are officially awesome. XD I haven't even finished Black Powder War (my copy is in braille and all the long-winded, somewhat unnecessary descriptions wear me out).
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. Don't click it. I said don't click it. No, you don't want to - no! No! NO! Oh, fine ... click it ...
I shall make a note of the author and title and place it in a spot where I can see it, so's I'll remember next time I make a journey to the bookstore.

Pity the agnostic dyslexic insomniac, for he loses sleep wondering whether there really is a Dog.
